MoonShakers

“We are MoonShakers, a garage rock band, our sound is somewhere between punk rock, surf and psychedelic music. Our songs are right on your face and full of energy with a voice that will take you into the deepest roots of soul music.

We recorded our first demo in 2012 and after having performed in bars, pubs, arenas (Kafe Antzokia, Azkena, Sonora, Bilborock) and other places around Basque Country and Spain we feel in great shape. In November 2015 we recorded our first album MoonShakers. This time in Silver Recordings, with Martin Cápsula as a producer.

Paco Merluzo & VJ Anisakis

From the abyssal depths of Basque waters two marine aberrations have arisen. These antediluvian profanities create such uncanny sonic and visual mutations that make the dancefloors vibrate in decadent and blasphemous rituals worthy of appearing in the darkest and most obscene ship´s log.
They water your pupils with fetid plankton and flood your eardrums with saltpeter, forcing your spine to dance and contort hypnotized by the rhythm of the northern gale they bring within their hideous souls.
We are talking about Paco Merluzo (Igor Arias) and VJ Anisakis (Juan Dopico). Two audiovisual scene veterans ready to make you want to join their eldritch oceanic covenant.
